According to a 2023 survey by Real Estate Witch, 9 out of 10 homeowners who bought a home in the last three years say they were unprepared for the extra costs of maintaining and financing their home. Even further, 73% said they had regrets about buying their home.

According to a recent report on America’s rental housing by the Joint Center for Housing Studies of Harvard University, in 2022 rents were unaffordable for 22.4 million renter households that paid rent.

According to a report by Primerica and PEW research, nearly three quarters of middle income families are falling behind the cost of living, causing the middle class to shrink with only half of the population falling into this group compared to over 60% fifty years ago.
